Need Help
We understand that ‘opening up’ can sometimes be difficult, especially when it’s a subject you may feel embarrassed to talk about.
To help you feel more relaxed we have a team of specialist counsellors who have been specifically chosen to relate to those people we’re trying to help. By offering both short-term and long-term counselling in a friendly, non-judgmental environment we hope to make the whole process easier for you.
Group Sessions
We run two groups a week with spaces for up to 10 people. Female-only sessions are also available. For more info on these sessions please follow the steps below.
A course of sessions will last 10 weeks. In these sessions we can cover:
Bereavement
Anxiety
Depression
Loneliness
Gender Identity issues
Substance misuse
And we'll be opening topics up to the group for suggestions.
Each 10-week course will be tailored to the needs of the individuals in the group to make sure people are getting the specific support they need.
If you are interested in receiving support, please see the steps below:
1) Email smalltalkcounselling@outlook.com, and be sure to put UPRAWR GROUPS in the title.
2) A member of our friendly team will reply with a shot form to fill in and a couple of questions to help make sure we're able to help. They will answer any questions you may have and book you in for your 1st session.
One 2 one Sessions
We offer customised one 2 one sessions by highly qualified and experienced counsellors. If you are interested in receiving support, please see the steps below:
1) Email smalltalkcounselling@outlook.com, be sure to put UPRAWR in the title.
2) A member of our friendly team will reply to arrange a short, confidential call at a time that is convenient for you. They will answer any questions you may have and arrange an in-person consultation.
Please note that while we are raising funds as quickly as possible we can still only fund a small number of patients to help.
As we receive donations we will continue to open up spaces for new patients and will continue to help as many people as possible.
Until we are able to launch our full service here is a list of places that we hope may be able to help:
